A small, sharp team based between Dublin and Feeny, County Derry — with clients across Ireland, the UK, and the United States. We keep the head-count deliberately small so the person who takes your first call is the person who handles your file.

Darrell-James Martin

Senior Partner & Founder · Dublin, Ireland

Darrell started DMJF in 2019 after more than ten years working as an accountant across Ireland, the UK, and — for a stretch — the United States. He's the one clients tend to end up on the phone with when things get complicated: cross-border tax, expat filings, the awkward year where you moved countries mid-way through.

Outside the office he plays bass and keys in a couple of working bands doing live shows regularly, which is where his soft spot for music-industry clients comes from — he understands touring income, royalties, and the strange shape of a musician's balance sheet because he lives it. He also travels several times a year to visit family in Arizona, so the American side of the practice is personal, not academic.

You'll usually find him walking his dog before his first call of the day.

Evelyn runs marketing, branding and business development at DMJF — social, campaigns, advertising, and performance. Background in Psychology and Marketing, so she's as comfortable reading behaviour as she is reading a CTR report. If you've read something warm on the firm's page recently, she probably wrote it.
